International Members' Scholarship Fund Information

Eligibility
An international member is a professional nurse leader or aspiring nurse leader who is educated and recognized in the country in which she/he practices (other than the United States) with RN licensure or its equivalent and who resides permanently outside of the United States, regardless of national origin. International members may attend AONE business and educational meetings and may vote in meetings and vote for directors or officers of the AONE except as otherwise set forth in AONE Bylaws. International members may not hold office at the national level.

Communication
English has been established as the language of the profession by the International Council of Nurses (ICN). Therefore, all communication between members located outside the United States and Headquarters will be conducted in English. All communication will be conducted by e-mail or through Members' Only portions of the AONE web site.

Fees
The fee structure for members outside the United States have been set according to World Bank classifications based on per capita income designated as low, middle and high. (See Sliding Scale) All fees paid to AONE will be calculated and paid in U.S. currency.
